LIVERPOOL, N.S.- Under the big tent we will have a party! That is what the Liverpool International Theatre Festival Organizing Committee has planned for LITF 2006. This year a large heated tent will be raised on the grounds of Lane’s Privateer Inn for use as the Festival Club.
Each succeeding year has seen a steady growth in the popularity of the Festival Club.
This after-theatre event provides an informal setting where theatre companies come
together after each evening of performances at the Astor Theatre to exchange
information and share their enthusiasm. It also gives the audience an opportunity
to meet visiting groups in a relaxed atmosphere.
As in previous years, bar service, food and entertainment will all be part of the
experience in this lovely setting near the Mersey River. Meet and greet new
friends and old beneath the big tent!
