General Audition Notice
2007-2008 Season

In preparation for the 2007-2008 season, Susan Ferley, Artistic Director for The Grand Theatre, will be holding general auditions in London, Ontario for the following productions:

ANNE OF GREEN GABLES
Adapted by Donald Harron, Music by Norman Campbell, from the novel by L. M. Montgomery, Lyrics by Donald Harron and Norman Campbell, Additional Lyrics by Mavor Moore and Elaine Campbell Contract dates: October 26, 2007 - January 6, 2008

SEXY LAUNDRY

Contract dates: December 27, 2007 - February 2, 2008

HANA'S SUITCASE
by Emil Sher, Based on the book by Karen Levine
Contract dates: January 22, 2008 - March 2, 2008

REAL ESTATE
by Allana Harkin
Contract dates: February 19, 2008 - March 30, 2008

TWIST AND SHOUT
Conceived and Written by Alex Mustakas
Contract dates: March 25, 2008 - May 18, 2008

Auditions will take place on March 30, 31, and April 2, 2007
at The Grand Theatre in London

-Actors should prepare 2 contrasting pieces - each piece approximately 1 minute -Please note that only those artists who are invited to audition will be contacted to set up an audition time. -If Susan knows your work, please send a note, or e-mail cynthia@grandtheatre.com if there is a role or a show that interests you. -There will be an opportunity this season for young actors, both male and female, (age 8 - 14 years) in Anne of Green Gables. Interested younger actors are welcome to submit their resume and photo for consideration. Experience in singing and dancing or gymnastics is an asset. Auditions for this role will be scheduled at a later date.  (TBA) -In our desire to encourage and reflect the world and our community on our stage, The Grand Theatre encourages racially diverse actors to submit resumes.

Equity members will be seen first at all open audition calls. Equity members cast in this production will be engaged under an Equity form of contract. CAEA members: please bring your membership card to the audition.
